Both are different. MBA is general business level administration degree which can offer positions like CEO and other admin positions in a company.
Engineering can be done in a various fields like mechanical, electrical, civil, computers and more. It depends on your career objectives. Both are good for future to do for making a bright future in but my recommendation is that go for what you are interested in not on others review.
